In the 2016/17 season, SnowKidz set a new benchmark of 716 events and actions. Now in 2017/18, SnowKidz once again broke the record with 762 events and actions.
Looking closer at the numbers, SnowKidz’ new record can be mostly attributed to the rise in national actions to bring children to the snow. For the 2017/18 season three countries – Andorra, Australia and the USA - joined the existing group of eight bringing the total of nationwide actions to eleven. When combined with the number of nationwide actions under twin programme World Snow Day, the global total rises to 15.
